The Greensboro City Council Regular Session Meeting was called to order by Mayor Corey Williams at 6:00 P.M. The council members present were Mr. Miller, Mrs. Rivers, Mr. Smith, Mr. Neal, Mr. Moore, City Attorney Mr. Adam Nelson, and City Clerk Toinia Butler.
Mr. Neal opened with prayer.
Motion to approve May 6,2024, Regular Session Minutes was made by Mr. Miller after a second by Mrs. Rivers motion was approved unanimously.
Motion to approve May 6, 2024, Executive Session Minutes was made by Mr. Moore after a second by Mrs. Rivers motion was approved unanimously.
Greensboro Fire Department updated was given by Mr. Wheeler (Assistant Fire Chief) he advised that the department is currently doing joint training with Greene County Fire Department and no new developments.
City Attorney Adam Nelson advised council of the 1st formal step on starting Consideration of Resolution for Condemnation of Property of 320 Orange Avenue LLC”.
Motion to accept the condemnation of property of 320 Orange Avenue LLC. was made by Mr. Miller after a second by Mr. Moore motion was approved unanimously.
Noreene Parker advised the council of long history in antiques and historical involvement.
Motion to reappoint Noreene Parker to the Greensboro Historic Preservation Commission was made by Mr. Moore after a second by Mr. Moore motion was approved unanimously.

Mr. Miller advised Mayor Williams that he has a matter for the Executive Session that involved the council board.
Mrs. Rivers advised Mayor Williams that she has a personnel matter for Executive Session.
Motion to enter Executive session made by Mr. Moore after a second by Mr. Miller motion was approved unanimously.
The motion to enter back into regular session was made by Mr. Moore after a second by Mrs. Rivers motion was approved unanimously.
Motion giving Mayor Williams permission to sign an affidavit stating that no action was taken on two personnel matters was made by Mr. Moore after a second by Mrs. Rivers motion was approved unanimously.
Motion to adjourn Regular Session Meeting was made by Mr. Smith after a second by Mr. Miller motion was approved unanimously.
